I adore this beautiful family. Coco and Noah and such sweet siblings and continuously capture my heart. Coco is a ball of energy and Noah quietly follows after her. I love seeing them together and am so glad their mom suggested this lovely little beach on Vashon Island. It is my new favorite place for photos. Staying in touch with my wedding couples has been one of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer. I had the privilege of shooting Stacey and Arun’s engagement and wedding photos a few years ago and have enjoyed watching their family grow. Photographing families has allowed me to keep connecting with my couple’s as they experience another life changing event. In many cases, I was a new parent myself when their kids were born, so we’ve been on the same wonderful journey into parenthood. I adore this family and Henry always brings a smile to my face. I am so grateful for all my couple’s who continue to invite me into their lives to capture these sweet moments.
I am fortunate to remain close with many of our couples years after their wedding. It's an interesting job to pop in and out of people's lives during huge moments, but to not know them on a day to day basis. Social media kept Shauna and I in touch, and slowly as their family grew, we began to see each other more. Our boys now know each other and we've become close friends. Shauna is also an extremely talented photographer and we can talk shop while our kids play. Photography has brought so much joy to my life and I'm extremely thankful it sent this this lovely woman and her family my way.
The world's cutest family award goes to these three! I have captured this couple in many different ways over the years, but as a family with Emilia is hands down my favorite. They're one of the most genuine couples I have ever met and are extraordinary parents. They're truly a family we admire and are grateful they're part of our lives.
I have so much love for this couple and their sweet boy Henry. Isn't he the cutest? He's surrounded by so much love and is such a happy boy. Clearly he also has delicious toes! I couldn't be happier for Stacy and Arun and look forward to watching Henry grow!
Meet the adorable Coco and her parents. I had the best time with them on the ferry for their end of the summer shoot. Coco is bursting with personality and it was such an adventure to watch her explore the ferry. They're expecting their second child and I love how this shoot perfectly captures where they are now...just months before they become a family of four.
